Bulgaria tour in unconventional spaces
September, 8th /Thursday/ – 8:30 pm, Canetti House Ruse

The history of a return: A man from Eastern Europe who lives abroad. Not very poor, not unhappy, neither lonely. A phone call brings him back in the past – “Come back, we have to burry mom”. The return is hard. Everything is different, everything has changed – the country, the language, the habits, the money. A return back home is on the way. A taxi driver, a poor psychologist, as the saying goes, becomes a witness of the return and involuntary becomes a bosom friend.

„Zavrastane” is created as a joint production between France and Bulgaria and staged June 2011 on the Viva Cite festival and Sotteviles les Rouen (international festival of arts in unconventional spaces) and on the international theater festival Harri Huri.  Theater Workshop « RUNNING PEOPLE », branch of IMAGO HOMINIS tries to mediate cultural spaces and art not only in theaters but also in unconventional surroundings.
