The 10th International MitOst Festival for cultural exchange and informal education will take place from 3rd to 7th October 2012 in Ruse, Bulgaria. More than 250 civically engaged MitOst members from all over Europe will arrive in Ruse for the festival.

The program includes workshops, discussions and cultural events. All events are free of charge and open to everyone willing to participate. You may receive more information in the festival headquarters – coffee library BH on 4th and 5th October.

So far, the festival has been guest in nine European cities – Pecs (Hungary), Vilnius (Lithuania) Wroclaw (Poland), Timisoara (Romania), Görlitz (Germany) Ushgorod (Ukraine), Gdansk (Poland), Perm (Russia) Ceske Budejovice (Czech Republic).

Ruse was elected to become one of these cities as its nomination was preferred due to its rich heritage as a multicultural city situated on the state border and also due to the excellent partnership of MitOst with the International Elias Canetti Society, which hosts the Festival.
