The writer Anna Tune was born in 1950 and has studied Philosophy and Roman Studies. She has been working for 25 years as a writer and freelance cultural manager and project manager. She is the chairperson of the association “Courage against xenophobia” and is currently working on the project »Dieulefit – Citoyenneté«.

The author of the novel, Anna Tune re-creates the memories of her childhood in France to tell about the difficult road of rapprochement with people, the shame and guilt of Germans for the committed by the Nazi evil, distancing themselves from their history and finding their way to the universal human values. A very difficult and painful process realized with joint efforts by Germany and France who managed to transform the centuries-old “blood feud” in friendship and cooperation.

Anna Tune’s novel The Restoration of Happiness. A German Childhood in France was published in Bulgarian by the Elias Canetti Publishing House in 2013.
