Stencil workshop with the Düsseldorf street artist Oldhaus aka Alessandro Althaus on May 8th and 9th 2015 in Ruse

Whether on walls, buildings, trains, book pages, T-shirts, CD covers or on canvas in art galleries, Oldhaus brings some life into bare grounds with spray cans, airbrush or brush. In the international art scene the communication designer and street artist already made a name for himself with his colorful and large-sized illustrations with 3D effects or his silent black-and-white picture cycles.

In the two-day workshop participants learn the technique of stencil graffiti (using stencils to print designs on various grounds). The event is aimed at people from the age of 12 or older, who want to work in a creative way and create their own masterpieces.

In the evening films Neukölln Unlimited (Mai 8th) and Oh Boy (Mai 9th) will be shown. The films start at 18.00 and are in German with English subtitles.

The workshop will take place in the context of the 9th skater festival Collision Course on May 8th and 9th 2015 in the Canetti House Ruse from 13:30 to 17:30. The participants should bring their own things for spraying such as T-shirts, bags, canvas, skateboards, cardboards etc. The number of participants is limited to 10-12 people.

Participation in the workshop and the screenings are free.

The cultural program as part of the skater festival is organized with the support of the Goethe Institute Sofia.
