📢 Reminder: “Sharing Future” Artist-in-Residence Scholarship 2026

The International Elias Canetti Society is pleased to remind artists across Europe — including the Western Balkans and Turkey — about the open call for the “Sharing Future” Artist-in-Residence Scholarship 2026 in Ruse, Bulgaria.

The residency supports painters, photographers, writers, performance artists, translators, musicians, and other artists interested in intercultural exchange and artistic collaboration within a European context.

✨ Scholarship Highlights:
• One-month residency in autumn 2026 in the city of Ruse, Bulgaria
• Opportunity to work in the historic Canetti House
• Accommodation provided by the International Elias Canetti Society
• Financial support of:
– €1200 stipend + €300 travel support, or
– €1500 combined support
• Possibility to connect with the local cultural scene and present the final project during the International Literature Festival Ruse

• Short project proposal
