The open cave in Pisanec – on this unusual place on the 8th of July elements of instant composition and improvisational dance were combined. The performance in the impressive cave began in a concert setting, which was gradually transformed by dance and interaction with the audience. The performance ONETIME is unique, especially harmonized by the two musicians and the two dancers with this place. Space, nature and sounds of the environment flew into the performance of the art quartet GRAPESHADE from Berlin.

ONETIME is one of a series of performances developed by the four participating musicians and dancers as a part of their international music project GRAPESHADE. Another art performance from the series will be staged on the Watertower Art Fest on the 10th of July 2011 in Sofia. The quartet is dedicated to deepening the relationship between sound/music and movement/dance through improvisation and instant composition, a form of communication which avoids the concreteness. With this it opens spaces to imagination and interpretation in order to work against a populistic way of explanation searching for various ways of new expression. Simpler, GRAPSHADE wants to explore the field in between black and white, good and bad, rich and poor and millions of other examples of polarization.
