We would like to sincerely thank you for your interest and applications for the Residence scholarship 2019 – Sharing Future!
As you know, the decision on the winner of the scholarship was made by a three-member board of trustees of the Elias Canetti Society and the Danube University Rectors’ Conference. The exact composition of the Board of Trustees was as follows:
Mr. Sebastian Schäffer – Secretary General of the Danube Rectors’ Conference (our sponsor)
Prof. Sc. Dr. Penka Angelova – Chairwoman of the IECS
Ms. Elena Velikova – Director of Ruse Art Gallery
The artist chosen for receiving the scholarship, was selected after the 15th of April from amongst all the people who applied until then. The period in which the winner can receive the scholarship starts from May until December 2019 for one month, and it depends on the winner of the scholarship to decide exactly when within this time frame to have his/her one month residency but since the International Literature festival 2019 Ruse starts in October, it would be preferable for us if the residency is held during October.

Sehr geehrte Bewerber, liebe Freunde,
wir möchten uns herzlich für Ihr Interesse und Ihre Bewerbungen für das Residenzstipendium 2019 – Sharing Future bedanken! Wie Sie wissen, wurde die Entscheidung über das Stipendium von einer dreiköpfigen Jury getroffen, zusammengestellt von Vertretern der Elias Canetti-Gesellschaft und der Donaurektorenkonferenz.
Die Jury setzt sich wie folgt zusammen:

Prof. Dr. Sc Penka Angelova – Vorsitzende der IECS
Mag. Elena Velikova – Direktorin der Ruse Art Gallery
- Der/die Stipendiat/in wurde nach am 15. April aus allen Bewerbern ausgewählt.
- Die Dauer des Stipendiums ist ein Monat, im Zeitraum zwischen Mai und Dezember 2019, und es hängt vom Gewinner des Stipendiums ab, wann genau innerhalb dieses Zeitraums seine/ihr einmonatiger Aufenthalt festgelegt wird
