The Ministry of Culture of Republic Bulgaria and Studio DAHD presented the exhibition – RIVER IN TRANSITION – DEVELOPMENT OF THE DANUBE’s ARTISTIC HERITAGE

Young artists from four Danube countries presented their photographs, installations, video art, poetry, archives and performances at Canetti House in Ruse. The River in Transition exhibition brings together the diverse visions of twenty students about the hidden heritage around the Danube and contemporary river transformations. The Danube Cultural Heritage Development Studio is part of the Danube Cultural Platform – Creative Places of the 21st Century (CultPlatForm_21) under the Danube Transnational Cooperation Program.

The curators of the exhibition are Prof. Dr. Elizabeth Schweger, Prof. Dr. Sabine Polak, Prof. Dr. Dubravka Lazic and Nadezhda Pavlova, and they are also the students’ mentors in the preparation of the projects. Studio DAHD has partnered with the Cultural Center of Upper Austria, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg, the Ministry of Culture of Bulgaria, the Academy of Arts at the University of Novi Sad and the Federal Chancellery of Austria.

The exhibition opened on May 14, 2019 from 5:30 pm and remained at Canetti House in Ruse until May 25.
