DANCEPERIMENTAL is an interactive dance performance with live music that involves the audience in co-creation. The boundary between artists and spectators is broken down by an old phone, which invites the audience to participate in the creation of the performance with their personal stories, with each spectator deciding for themselves whether to join in or not. The dance and music are entirely improvised, born in the moment, in and from the presence of the audience, and inspired by their shared experiences.
A room. At an indefinite time, in an unspecified place. Familiar, cozy, reminiscent of something, somewhere, sometime. A memory or a dream? And yet it is happening now, here, and will never be repeated. Your stories resonate; your stories move us. Come. The phone is ringing. It’s for you!
