Organized jointly by the International Elias Canetti Society, Goethe Institute and Ruse Art Gallery

Children and students up to 18 years of age from all types of educational institutions are eligible to participate.

The competition aims to stimulate creative and aesthetic skills.

The works should be without mount, size 35/50, up to 3 pieces per participant.

Techniques and materials are optional.

Drawings will be judged by a professional jury of artists.

Judging Criteria:
🟢 childlike expressiveness;
🟢compositional construction;
🟢 ability to convey ideas through the use of appropriate techniques.

Age groups:
🟢 First age group: up to 7 years old;
🟢 Second age group: 1st – 4th grade.
🟢 Third age group: 5th – 7th grade
🟢 Fourth age group: 8th – 12th grade

The back of each entry to be written legibly:
🟢 name, age/grade;
🟢 title;
🟢 school/educational institution;
🟢 supervisor, e-mail and contact telephone number.

The organisers are awarding three prizes:
1. For an original presentation of a topic
2. For a creative message
3. For aesthetic excellence

The jury will also determine an Institution Award and a Supervisor/Faculty Award.

The awarded works will be exhibited at the Canetti House, Canetti Blvd. “Slavyanski” № 12, thus giving a wider range of people the opportunity to meet the children’s creativity.

Opening of the exhibition.

Each participant of the exhibition will receive a certificate of participation.
