Tzveta Sofronieva’s “Hugged by the Fog”, published by FO, and “Michelangelo’s Prisoners” Poetry by Dennis Maloney, compilation and translation from American English: Tsveta Sofronieva, Fo Publishing House, Sofia, 2019.

Tzveta Sofronieva was born in 1963 in Sofia, has lived in many places, currently in Berlin. She studied physics at Sofia University, has a PhD in scientific and cultural history, and studied with Joseph Brodsky. Along with over twenty books of poetry, prose and essays, her works also include theater texts, literary installations and poetry translations. Amongst her awards are: Adalbert von Chamisso, PEN American and Cliff Becker Poetry Awards. Her work has been translated in German, English, Hungarian, French, Japanese, Finnish, Uzbek, Russian, Serbian, Dutch and other languages.

Denis Maloney an author with a cosmopolitan personality – poet, translator, publisher, architect and traveler. Maloney’s literary art rests on the deep roots of several cultures and is constantly evolving in its dynamic communication with poets, essayists and thinkers from different sciences, societies, religions. “Michelangelo’s Prisoners” is a metaphorical diary of a wandering spirit that thirsts for freedom and seeks places for decent, aesthetically pleasing incarnations.
